Taiwan’s Machinery And Equipment Exports Hit A New High In March

The Taiwan Machinery Industry Association announced today (11th) that the export value of machinery in March was US$3.157 billion, an increase of 9% over the US$2.897 billion in the same period last year. According to the Machinery Association, this shows that Taiwan’s machinery and equipment exports continue to flourish.
In the first three months of this year, the export value of Taiwan’s machinery was 8.788 billion US dollars, an increase of 15.4% over the same period last year. If it was denominated in New Taiwan dollars, it was about 254.321 billion yuan, an increase of 13.7% over the same period last year.
Observing the machine tool industry, according to the statistics of the Association, the export value of machine tools in March was 229 million US dollars, second only to testing and measuring equipment, electronic equipment, and power transmission parts. 0.87%; the export performance of controllers was outstanding. In March, the export value was 186 million US dollars, ranking fifth, an increase of 184.4% over the same period last year. In the first three months of this year, the export of controllers was 467 million US dollars, an annual increase of 179.1%.
