The consumption vouchers are organized by the Wuhan Branch of the People’s Bank of China under the guidance of the Wuhan Branch of the People’s Bank of China and the China UnionPay Hubei Branch to organize consumer activities conducted by commercial banks.
According to Hu Yabo, member of the Standing Committee of Wuhan Municipal Committee and Executive Deputy Mayor, Wuhan City will issue 500 million consumer vouchers, mainly to stimulate consumption to further promote production. Starting from the 20 million consumer vouchers issued yesterday, the next step is to increase the scale and scope of consumer voucher issuance. At present, we are studying to determine specific plans for issuing consumer vouchers.
