According to comprehensive Taiwan media reports, Kinmen County’s campaign of “struggling for the resumption of the ‘miniature three links'” has been signed and signed for more than a month, and more than 8,000 joint signatures have been collected, and they were handed over to Taiwan’s Mainland Affairs Council by Chen Yuzhen, a native of Kinmen. The DPP authorities should stop pretending to be deaf and dumb, and resume the “miniature three links” as soon as possible.
It is understood that the collector of the joint signature emphasized that the “miniature three links” are the economic lifeline of the people of Kinmen, and it is also a transportation channel that many Taiwanese businessmen, young people, and students in Taiwan rely heavily on. The suspension of the “miniature three links”, the reduction of cross-strait flights, and the skyrocketing prices have blocked many people’s way home, and even left regrets in their lives. The resumption of the “mini-three links” has such high public opinion that the DPP authorities pretended not to see it.
Taiwan’s “China Times News Network” published a comment saying that since the launch of the “Three Small Links” across the Strait, in addition to providing more convenient channels for people on both sides of the Strait, it has also played a vital role in cross-strait commodity exchanges and small-scale trade. The DPP authorities are now making a big fuss over the restart of the “miniature three links” issue that is related to the important people’s livelihood and the economy. I believe the people can make their own judgments about who is blocking the “miniature three links” and who doesn’t want the “spring blossoms” on both sides of the strait.
With regard to the resumption of the cross-strait “miniature three links”, Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, reiterated recently that the mainland has no obstacles. Relevant parties have made full preparations and can be put into operation at any time. I advise the DPP authorities to stop using deceitful tactics to continue to harm the vital interests of compatriots on both sides of the strait, especially Taiwan compatriots, and should cancel the artificial restrictions set unilaterally as soon as possible.
