New Production Lines For Meltblown Nonwovens

Melt-blown non-woven fabric is a filter layer used in the middle of the mask, which has good filterability, barrier property, thermal insulation and adsorption, and is called the “heart” of the mask. Recently, many areas of melt-blown non-woven production projects have been completed and put into production.
Beijing: New production line for meltblown cloth increased to 12 tons per day
On the afternoon of April 15, Yanshan Petrochemical, located in Fangshan, Beijing, completed and put into operation the fourth melt-blown nonwoven production line. So far, Yanshan Petrochemical’s two phases of the project have produced a total of 4 melt-blown non-woven production lines, with a daily production capacity of 12 tons. This 12-ton melt-blown non-woven fabric can be used in 12 million medical plane masks to a certain extent. Alleviate the shortage of raw materials for mask manufacturers. Yanshan Petrochemical stated that both production lines of its melt-blown non-woven second-phase project were based on independent design. All complete equipment including the core equipment melt-blown head was purchased in China, and the localization rate of the equipment reached 100%. For the Yanshan Petrochemical Meltblown Nonwoven Fabric Construction Project, the government of Beijing and Fangshan District fully supports the development of green channels. Liaoning: Project with annual output of 1,000 tons meltblown cloth completed and put into production
As of 6 a.m. on April 17, the melt-blown nonwoven fabric production line constructed by Liaoyang Petrochemical has been running smoothly for 24 hours, and a stable output of melt-blown non-woven fabric capable of producing KN95 masks, the first melt-blown non-woven fabric in Liaoning The production line was successfully put into operation. Starting from March 8, Liaoyang Petrochemical organized a research team of nearly 1,000 people to carry out 24 hours of uninterrupted operations on the premise of strictly implementing the epidemic prevention and control requirements. The project duration, which normally takes as long as 6 months to complete, was shortened to 38 days. The melt-blown cloth production process was fully opened and successfully put into production, 15 days ahead of the original plan. After the project is successfully put into production, it is expected to help downstream enterprises to increase daily output of 3 million disposable medical masks or 900,000 KN95 masks. In addition, Liaoyang Petrochemical has formulated a strict sales strategy, and products will be preferentially supplied to large enterprises that undertake the task of national epidemic prevention.
