On the 5th, the founder of One Media, Li Zhiying, appeared in West Kowloon Magistrates’ Court for alleged criminal intimidation of journalists and participation in unauthorized marches. The court scheduled the case to begin trial on August 19, and Li Zhiying was granted a bail of 4,000 Hong Kong dollars pending trial, but was restricted from leaving Hong Kong and had to report to the police station every Wednesday.
