China Will Not Ignore US Tech Bullying

According to reports, U.S. government officials plan to adopt new restrictions on Huawei. According to the new regulations, foreign companies using U.S. chip manufacturing equipment must first obtain a U.S. license to supply certain chips to Huawei. In response, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying said at a routine press conference today (2nd) that the Chinese government will never ignore this kind of technological bullying of the United States.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Hua Chunying: The U.S. government intends to adopt new restrictions on Huawei. I do n’t know exactly what they want to do. They must ask the U.S. side. However, I noticed that in the past two days, Mr. Xu Zhijun, the rotating chairman of Huawei, has already expressed his position on this. I think he has a very strong and reasonable question. The Chinese government’s stance is consistent. We are firmly opposed to the United States’ use of national power to unnecessarily suppress specific Chinese enterprises with unfounded charges. Then the Chinese government will never ignore this kind of technological bullying of the US side.
