Yesterday, CCTV’s Chinese International Channel reported the scientific research achievements of Peking University’s Xie Xiaoliang team and cooperation team. The Xie Xiaoliang team is the first in the world to apply high-throughput single-cell sequencing technology to find neutralizing antibodies in the blood of patients during rehabilitation, shortening the search time from year to month, and greatly improving efficiency. Neutralizing antibodies are expected to become special drugs for treatment, and can also provide short-term prevention. Xie Xiaoliang said in an interview: “We are starting animal experiments, and the initial results are very good. If the epidemic repeats in winter, our neutralizing antibody may be available by then.”
