CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. has participated in the development of many medium and low speed maglev vehicles including Qingcheng Mountain Maglev Train. In June 2018, the company won the bid for the Guangdong Qingyuan medium and low speed maglev tourism dedicated line project.
Qingyuan Maglev Train adopts constant-conduction magnetic levitation and short-stator linear motor traction technology, with a maximum operating speed of 120km / h. On the basis of drawing lessons from the domestic maglev train technology, the train has carried out comprehensive innovation and optimization of the suspension frame structure, suspension control system, traction efficiency, body materials, noise control, etc.

According to reports, CRRC Changke Co., Ltd. and relevant units started the research project of key technology research and test system development of high-temperature superconducting maglev transportation system in early 2019. This subject is an innovative attempt by China in the field of high-temperature superconducting dynamic suspension. Completed the construction of the world’s first high-temperature superconducting maglev transportation system test platform.
