Li Tianbi introduced that due to the epidemic situation, China ’s international freight had problems such as backlog of international mail, some important production materials, medical materials and difficulties in international transportation of consumer goods. The Ministry of Transport and the relevant departments established a special class for international logistics work, studied and formulated policies and measures to improve the capacity of international freight, promoted the resolution of the inspection and isolation of international freight crews, and fully carried out the transport security work of foreign aid for anti-epidemic materials, and focused on Solve the backlog of international mail. The Ministry of Transport actively coordinated China Post Group and COSCO Shipping Group to carry out demand matching, and cooperated in the development of shipping of sea mail. At present, COSCO SHIPPING has shipped some shipping mail containers to Japan, New Zealand, Israel and other countries. In the future, it will continue to expand routes and increase the carrying capacity.
The Ministry of Transport encourages airlines to use non-stop passenger cargo transport to increase international air cargo capacity; increase the frequency of flights and increase the capacity of Sino-European train transportation; open up international express ship transportation, and shorten the transportation time by reducing port calls and increasing speed To open up new channels to solve the backlog of postal couriers; strengthen the deployment of transport capacity, and ensure the normal progress of international road transport through port transportation.
Recently, the Ministry of Transport will also jointly publish a notice on the current better service to stabilize foreign trade with the Ministry of Commerce and the General Administration of Customs, focusing on smoothing foreign trade transportation channels, promoting foreign trade transportation facilitation, reducing logistics costs in import and export links, and creating Specific measures were introduced in five aspects of a good external environment and strengthened mechanism guarantee.
