They are famous Chinese women with brilliant talents and distinctive personalities, which have made many people yearn for and admire them! These beauties were born in prosperous and wealthy families, and their wealth was extremely noble; or they were peerless and charming; or they were talented and proudly independent; or they had gone through hardships and their stories were tortuous and bizarre. But they all used their beauty and wisdom to write an immortal legend.
1. Zhang Ailing
It is not an exaggeration to say that Zhang Ailing is an “exception” in the history of Chinese literature. Under her pen, words really come to life and go straight into your heart. People who like Zhang Ailing really like her books. Reading itself can give readers great pleasure. The joy of reading can only be obtained from her, at least for me. You may know the truth, understand knowledge, and be shocked by reading other books, but you will only be happy when reading Zhang Ailing’s articles.
2. Sanmao
Sanmao, a famous Taiwanese writer, was born on March 26, 1943 in Chongqing, and is from Dinghai County, Zhejiang Province. Her real name is Chen Maoping, and her pen name is “Sanmao”. Lu Yin (May 4, 1898 – May 13, 1934) was originally named Huang Shuyi, also known as Huang Ying, from Nanyu Township, Minhou County, Fujian Province. 5. Feng Ling Shuhua
Ling Shuhua (March 25, 1900-May 22, 1990) was born in a family of officials and painters in the cultural ancient city of Beijing. She was born to her father’s fourth wife. The splendid culture and environment of the ancient city inspired her talent and made her outstanding achievements in literary creation and painting. She is good at both fine brushwork and freehand brushwork. Her ink is light and far-reaching, and her beauty is deep and graceful. She is praised by famous artists at home and abroad. Morova said that she is a versatile Chinese woman with a “clear mind”. Her works include novels, essays, plays, poems, research on modern writers’ works and various academic works, with various forms and wide content, including astronomy, geography, science, history, local customs, natural scenery, mountains and rivers, moonlit night and starry sky. 7. Lin Huiyin
Lin Huiyin, a native of Min County, Fujian (now Fuzhou, Fujian), was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in June of the 30th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty (1904). She was born into an official family. 8. Lu Xiaoman
Lu Xiaoman (1903-1965), a modern female painter, was born in Wujin, Jiangsu. She studied at the French Sacred Heart School in 1915 and was proficient in English and French at the age of 18. She was a painter, and studied under famous artists such as Liu Haili, Chen Banding, and He Tianjian. Her father Lu Dingyuan was the director of the Taxation Department of the Ministry of Finance. 9. Bing Xin
Bing Xin (October 5, 1900 – February 28, 1999) died at the age of 99. She was born in Hengling Village, Changle, Fuzhou, Fujian. Her original name was Xie Wanying and her pen name was Bing Xin. Bing Xin advocated the “philosophy of love”. “Maternal love, childlike innocence, and nature” are the main themes of her works. She loved children very much and regarded them as “the most sacred people”. She believed that they were the flowers of the motherland and should be well cared for. She was deeply respected by the people. Her works are full of love for nature, as well as praise and admiration for maternal love and childlike innocence. Bing Xin’s love is broad and deep, just like the sea she loves. Her literary influence transcends national boundaries. 10. Ding Ling
Ding Ling (October 12, 1904 – March 4, 1986), formerly known as Jiang Wei, with the pen name Bingzhi, and pen names Binzhi, Congxuan, etc., was born in Linli, Hunan. She is a famous contemporary Chinese writer and social activist. Her works are delicate, bold, and full of emotional portrayals of the characters’ psychology. In May 1930, Ding Ling joined the League of Left-Wing Writers of China. In September 1936, she went to northern Shaanxi and became the first well-known writer to arrive in the Central Soviet Area. She was welcomed by leaders such as Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai.
