The Global Higher Education and Business Education Research Institute (Quacquarelli Symonds) released the “2022 Asian University Rankings.” The list includes 687 institutions of higher learning from 18 regions in Asia. Among them, the National University of Singapore topped the list with a perfect score of 100 points, Peking University ranked second with a score of 99.5, and Nanyang Technological University of Singapore ranked third on the list.

Interpretation of the 2022 Asian University Ranking List
The 2022 Asian qs university rankings are based on academic reputation (30%), employer reputation (20%), teacher-student ratio (10%), international research network (10%), citation rate per paper (10%), and paper per faculty member Number (5%), number of faculty members with doctoral degrees (5%), proportion of international faculty (2.5%), proportion of international students (2.5%), proportion of inbound exchange students (2.5%), and proportion of outbound exchange students (2.5%) %) and other 11 key indicators for comprehensive consideration.
From the perspective of country and regional distribution, a total of 126 universities in mainland China are on the list of Asian schools, an increase of 2 universities year-on-year. Second, India has 118 universities on the list, Japan has 108 universities, South Korea has 88 universities, and Pakistan has 47 universities on the list.
From the perspective of China alone, seven of the TOP10 universities in Asia are from China. Among them, Peking University ranks second on the list, becoming the highest ranked university in China. Followed by the University of Hong Kong (No. 3), Tsinghua University (No. 5), Zhejiang University (No. 6), Fudan University (No. 7), Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (No. 9), and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (No. 10).
