As the “veteran” of the 5th CIIE, Danone, a multinational food and beverage company, was also one of the exhibitors who signed up for the 6th CIIE on the same day, and booked a booth early for next year.
“This year marks the fifth anniversary of the CIIE. In the past five years, despite the challenging external environment, the CIIE has never missed an appointment, which shows us China’s firm commitment to opening up.” Xie Weibo, President of Danone China, North Asia and Oceania He said, “We believe that at the critical beginning of the new era and new journey, the CIIE, as an important link to promote the development of internal and external dual cycles, has a more prominent significance and role.”
Xie Weibo said that for Danone, the CIIE is an important global launch platform for new products, which greatly increases the speed, breadth and density of the two-way connection between Danone and the Chinese market. Over the past five years, Danone has introduced more than 70 new products to the Chinese market. Taking advantage of the spillover effect of the CIIE, Danone has accelerated the pace of investment in “Created in China” and “Made in China” in an all-round way – setting up a new open scientific research center in the Chinese market and investing in two specialized special nutrition factories.
On the 6th, the 5th CIIE Trade and Investment Matchmaking Conference was held. More than 500 exhibitors from nearly 60 countries and regions conducted matchmaking and negotiation with more than 2,000 buyers, investment promotion agencies, and industrial parks.
