Interpretation of 2021 China’s top 100 prefecture-level cities and urban areas
The 2021 CCID Top 100 Districts list shows that the per capita GDP of the top 100 urban areas on the list has reached 147,166 yuan, and the per capita GDP has reached 1.064 billion yuan per square kilometer, which is much higher than the national average. The per capita disposable income of urban residents in the top 100 areas reached 58,851 yuan, 15,017 yuan higher than the national average.
From the perspective of regional distribution, in the ranking of the top 100 regions with comprehensive strength in the country, 68 urban areas belong to the eastern region, 16 urban areas in the western region are shortlisted, 14 urban areas in the central region are short-listed, and only 2 urban areas in the northeastern region are short-listed, which shows that The economic development gap between urban areas continues to widen.
In terms of provinces (autonomous regions), Jiangsu Province ranks first in the country with 23 short-listed urban areas, followed by Guangdong Province with 19 short-listed urban areas, followed by Zhejiang Province with 12 urban districts, Shandong Province with 10 urban districts, and Sichuan The province has 9 urban areas, Hunan and Shandong each have 5 urban areas.
